My name is Jarek Zawadzki. I translate poetry, fiction and non-fiction from English and Chinese (both modern Mandarin and Classical Chinese) to my mother tongue, which is Polish. I am a regular member of the Polish Literary Translators’ Association.

Enheduanna (ca. 2300 BCE) is the earliest known poet whose name has been recorded. She was a daughter of Sargon of Akkad. Her father made her High Priestess of the goddess Inanna.
I have chosen the name of this Akkadian poet for my imprint, duly registered with the Polish National Library. I have been publishing my books under this imprint since 2020.
